Direct Response Media Agency, Media Wow, has completed the move into their new office at Marshall Court, part of the regeneration project in Holbeck, Leeds.
Situated only 10 minutes walk from the train station and central Leeds, the office is not only well appointed, but also very well situated, being convenient but easy to access by both car from the motorway system and for visitors arriving by train.
The office is open planned and meets the goal of allowing easy lines of communication between Wow’s offline and online media teams as well as its new Creative Design department. This integration of thought is something Media Wow takes very seriously and even the desk layout within the office allows for departmental heads to turn around and talk directly to each other.
Wow’s goal for clients, as facilitated by the move, is to demonstrate how online and offline activity is linked and to develop the Analytics for clients to measure how various media affects online traffic. Such work has already stopped one client ditching press adverts after identifying that the adverts are producing a significant amount of incremental online sales. Wow’s online and offline teams are working very closely to produce media measurement tools for clients and the office set up certainly helps.
The atmosphere in the office is light and airy, with a double-door balcony allowing staff to get away from their pcs and look out over the surrounding Mill complex. Newly decorated and with its own large meeting room, the office will allow for further expansion, with an option to grow out into adjoining space.
Wow’s Head of Digital, Steve Pritchard, believes that a good working environment is vital for staff wellbeing and productivity: “The natural light and fresh air has been great to keep us all feeling fresh during the recent hot spell. It is a real pleasure to come to work; which is just as well, given that we have eight new web site builds already lined up over the summer.”
Steve adds, “The new website for CityCarClub has just gone live and is the first new site completed by Wow at Marshall Court.”
The signs are that Marshall Street is going to be a happy home for the Media Wow team.
