The Motor Insurance Bureau (MIB) has announced their new Continuous Insurance Enforcement (CIE) regulation. It is now a legal offence to keep a vehicle without insurance unless you have a valid Statutory Off Road Notification presented by the DVLA. This can be enforced even if you are not driving the car.
