Katherine is a graduate twice over, having originally studied Art & Design and then complementing this with a degree in Multimedia Technology. She joined Media Wow in 2012 to contribute to the success of the creative team’s offering.
The combination of her traditional arts background and technical abilities means that she brings a unique outlook to her work. During her course she completed a year’s placement at Leeds Metropolitan University working as a Design Intern. Since then she has taken on a mixture of creative agency roles and freelance projects covering graphic design for print and web.
She enjoys travelling and has visited Boston in the States (after winning an award at SIGGRAPH), Bangkok in Thailand to work at the International Indian Film Academy Awards and Poland to volunteer at two arts therapy centres in Lublin.
“If I’m not gazing at a computer, I’m out galloping across the dales on a trusty steed. I’m always sure to be carrying a sketchbook with me no matter where I go, as I love filling it with weird and wonderful doodlings”.
How do you take your cuppa?
“I like green tea best – a nice fruity one with mango is my fave!”
