Kelly Farrington

Kelly FarringtonWith over twenty years experience in the media industry, Kelly says he is starting to feel very old! But with age comes experience and Kelly’s work covers a very wide range of sectors including retail, government, leisure, B2B, financial and health.

A graduate from Loughborough University, Kelly is ultra-competitive and tries his absolute best for clients. With boundless energy and enthusiasm, Kelly goes the extra mile for clients and genuinely cares about the results gained from advertising campaigns. Kelly’s strong sense of fair play and justice means that he will fight the client’s corner and strive to achieve the best possible results for them; but often in a wider context than simple marketing solutions.

Before setting up Media Wow, Kelly spent the previous nine years of his working life at Response Advertising Media, where (as Managing Director) he was central to building up the direct response agency from the £1 Million operation it was when he joined, to posting a £12 Million Group turnover figure for 2004.

In January 2006 Kelly resigned from RAM to set up Media Wow, which opened for business on 3rd April, 2006.

Kelly Farrington is currently Vice-Chair of the Direct Marketing Association North and very keen on driving up standards in the industry.

Outside work, Kelly enjoys playing sport with his two young sons and coaching Wetherby Tigers junior football club. Whilst Kelly was born in London and supports Charlton Athletic, his Leeds born sons support Leeds United: which invites to a bit of banter in the household.

Kelly runs to stay fit and enters the occasional 10k race. In May 2007 Kelly gained his RYA certificate for windsurfing, although this is only a fair weather, holiday hobby. To counteract his fitness, Kelly enjoys collecting and drinking fine wines and holding wine tasting events!

Life may be very hectic but, as the old saying goes, “If you want something doing, give it to a busy person!”

How do you take your cuppa?

Your average cuppa“I’m not too fussy about my tea or coffee. I’ll take it as it comes and am always grateful someone has included me in their ‘tea round’. Biscuit of choice to dunk? Chocolate Hobnobs: the only biscuit that holds its shape in tea!”
