With over fifteen years experience in the media industry, mainly on the broadcast side, Richard has worked with a broad range of advertising agencies and clients across the UK. Before joining Media Wow, Richard spent the last nine years as an Account Manager at Channel Five Broadcasting, and prior to that, three years at Yorkshire Television.
At Channel Five, Richard was responsible for a number of sponsorship deals including: Julian Graves Foods sponsorship of Five’s Diet Doctors series and Topps Tiles sponsorship of Five’s National Weather bulletins.
Richard moved across to the ‘dark side’ joining Media Wow just under five years ago. With an extensive knowledge of broadcast and media/marketing in general, he will be using all of his experience gained to further enhance Media Wow’s broadcast and account management offering to clients.
Outside of work Richard is a keen runner and has taken part in many races over the last few years. Richards dedication to running fits well into the Media Wow competitive ethos. Turning his attention to longer races and tougher off-road races, Richards latest challenge was to complete the Yorkshire 3 Peaks race in spring 2011. He is planning to repeat this (slightly quicker) in 2012!
