New website, online display and printed advertising campaigns
In 2010 City Car Club approached Media Wow with a number of projects intended to give their marketing a fresh, bolder look that would appeal to the young target market, starting with a completely new website.
“At City Car Club we were looking for a complete website re-vamp. As the UK’s first car club, we have long received a high volume of web traffic as visitors come to our site to find out what car clubs are all about.
We wanted a website that reflected our existing fun and playful image, but took it to the next level. MediaWow succeeded in doing just that, by understanding our vision and transforming it into a fantastic site. Building it from scratch, the innovative and creative demands were considerable, but MediaWow rose to the challenge and managed to deliver the site to deadline and to budget. The new look and feel of the site was then carried forward across other online and offline marketing, including adverts in the Guardian paper and magazine supplements and online display banners, later implemented through Google ads. The animated banners made use of the bold, colourful style to draw attention even on the busiest web page and presented a moving step-by-step guide to using City Car Club.
